Favorite Snapchat Accounts

Thursday, 25 February 2016
Hey guys,
You may or may not use Snapchat a lot, I tend to dip in and out of it, I'm trying to be a bit more active in terms of creating a story, (add me though if you want, @ sadiyahearts) my life most days though can't compare with the very glam and eventful lives of some of these ladies. I follow a lot of bloggers and YouTubers, but these are some of the more active accounts. A lot of these accounts you probably know about or follow already, they're listed in no particular order by the way, they're just stories I find myself tapping on the most.

Victoria's blog inthefrow.com, is focused on luxury fashion beauty and lifestyle. She always looks immaculate and comes across as really warm and lovely,  She's based in London and attends lots of amazing events, there's always something interesting happening in her story.

Elaine's story is usually pretty interesting, she comes across as super upbeat. She's based in New York, and is Beauty & Health Director at Teen Vogue. She travels a lot and is always at cool events, you sometimes get a first look at lots of new beauty products and cool stuff in her story. Also, the Teen Vogue offices are cool, and I love anyone who snaps from NYC, I really wanna visit!

Erica is an Irish blogger from Kerry, she blogs at retro-flame.com. She has quite a grown up ladylike style. She lives and works in NYC, so obviously I love her snaps of the city.

♥ lilypebbles
Blogger & YouTuber Lily you probably already know, she's a Londoner and her snaps give you a look into the YouTube life, she's very down-to-earth and you can expect lots of normal everyday, but still interesting stuff in her snaps. She also does full length vlogs on her YouTube channel.

♥ heyclairehey
I love Claire, she probably needs no introduction, she has over 800,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. Her make-up is always flawless and I love her style too. She doesn't snap as often as some others but when she does it's always something super interesting. I particularly love when she snaps her gorgeous cat Brucifer Lee. You can also follow him on Instagram. You're welcome.

♥ thelovecatsinc
Northern UK blogger Helen blogs over at thelovecatsinc.com, she snaps her make-up looks, outfits and just everyday stuff. She has an extensive make-up collection and knows a lot about different products. She's works full time but still posts on her blog almost everyday so she's an inspiration in terms of blog schedule goals.

♥ chiaraferragni
Italian fashion designer and may be one of the biggest bloggers in the world, Chiara, blogs at her website theblondesalad.com. If you want a look into high fashion from the front row, extreme luxury and living the high life, add her, she's always travelling somewhere different and it feels like almost everyday she's snapping from a new location. Her wardrobe is absolutely insane.

♥ man_repeller
Another superblogger, and also another New Yorker, Leandra Medine's snaps are pretty funny, featuring awesome fashion and of course, NYC <3 :p. She blogs at her website manrepeller.com.

Recent Beauty Discoveries

Thursday, 18 February 2016
Hey lovelies, hope you're all well, it's Thursday again, so I'm back with another post. I'm gonna share some of my recent beauty discoveries. I'm not someone that uses a ton of beauty products, as I've probably mentioned before, so I pick what I buy quite carefully, despite that however, I'm often disappointed with products I buy, so I'm delighted that I really liked all of these. I thought they all worked really well for me. They are also all quite natural products too, which is something I'm becoming more and more conscious of.

♥ Lush "Montalbano" Solid Shampoo.
I need a shampoo that removes build-up well, because my hair is naturally on the oily side. I tried out one of Lush's solid shampoo before after a friend recommended them. This one, Montalbano contains lemon oil, lemon juice, and fresh olives. It also supposedly contains popping candy, but I didn't really notice. I found it to be really cleansing, it removed all the build up in my hair after one use, leaving it super shiny. It can be a tiny bit harsh in through, probably not for you if you have coloured hair, I found one rinse to be enough, I didn't really need to repeat. I really loved the clean lemony scent, I absolutely love any fresh citrus scents. I thought it worked well for my hair type, it's definitely one to try if you have a similar hair type or when you need to get rid of product buildup. These solid shampoos tend to last a good while as long as you don' t leave them out to melt in your shower. I think they need to dry out after use in order to last. You can buy a little tin to store them in for extra if you want as they are sold as pictured, without any packaging. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying this solid shampoo again.
This is a wonderful product, I'm so glad I bought it, it's definitely something I'll buy again. First of all, I like the scent of it, it's a very natural, and it contains different natural oils like sunflower, rosemary and calendula. It's an incredibly rich and think cream, meant for really dry rough skin, like elbows etc. I've used it on my face mostly and found it really great, it doesn't irritate at all and works really well under make-up too. It's so thick it acts almost like a barrier on your skin. I would highly recommend it for skin that is flaky and dry, or just lackluster and in need of some extra TLC. It definitely adds another layer of protection to your skin, so it's great if you're heading out in really cold or windy weather. Also a little goes a long way. A really great beauty discovery.

♥  Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Rose Pure-Castile Soap
This stuff is incredible. It's basically just a gentle soap, but you can use it for pretty much anything you can think of, as a hand wash, for your laundry, washing vegetables, (I know, I was like what!?) as toothpaste or shampoo, the list is endless. It's a totally natural product. It's vegetable based and is completely biodegradable. This rose scented one smells gorgeous, but it's available in lots of other scents too. I got a giant bottle of it but it's also available in a smaller travel size, to keep handy on the go. The oils used in it are all fair trade and organic. I'm so glad I found it, it's an amazing product.

What beauty product have you recently discovered?

Bath & Unwind Beauty Bag

Thursday, 4 February 2016
Hey guys, hope you're all doing well, we're already into February, I think a lot of people consider this month to be the real start of their new year! Anyway, I recently bought this lovely Bath & Unwind Beauty Bag. It's full of lots of gorgeous stuff, I've been really enjoying trying all the different products, and I thought I'd share what's in it.

Everything came in this pretty sheer cosmetics bag.

Korres Citrus Shower Gel
This has a really gorgeous citrusy scent, it has some woody smellling notes too so it does smell a little bit masculine, I really liked it though, it also lathers beautifully.
Elemental Herbology Grapefruit and Mandarin Body Wash
I love the minimal design of this packaging, and the pretty drawing on it. It smells, lovely and fruity and lathers really nicely, it's also a decent size.

Masque Creme Fraiche 24HR Soothing and Rehydrating Fresh Mask
I am obsessed with this stuff, it's really amazing. My skin is pretty sensitive, and after cleansing when I put this on it's like my skin is giving a big sigh of relief, it is so soothing and rehydrating I actually couldn't get over how well it worked for me. I would definitely buy it again, it also smells really gorgeous and relaxing too.
Dr. Hauschka Hand Creme
This hand creme has a strong medicinal smell, but it does work wonders for dry hands, it's really think and rich, almost like a balm it clings to your skin but absorbs quickly.

Britannia Dren plus
To be honest, I wasn't sure exactly what this was when I got it, but it was included in the beauty bag. I have yet to try it, but it's a supplement to help with water retention.

Arran Aromatics Scotland "Just Grapefruit" Scented Candle
I can't remember if I've mentioned my love for almost anything grapefruit scented before, but I am absolutely obsessed with the gorgeous citrusy scent so I'm delighted to get to sample this candle.

Badger After Sun Balm
Living in Ireland, I hardly see any sun so I didn't think this would be any use to me but it's actually a really good all purpose body balm, it's completely organic and it smells lovely too.

Bathing Beauty Balaclava Protective Face Salve
This stuff is supposed to be unscented, but it contains sunflower oil, and that is what it smells like. It is really good though, my skin feels great after applying it, it really does feel like it's like a balaclava for your skin acting like a barrier protecting it from cold and pollution. My skin feels super hydrated and happy after applying it.

Eye of Horus Charcoal Obsidian Eye Pencil
This glides on beautifully and is a pretty gunmetal grey you can build up easily, it has a subtle silver glitter in it. It also has a smudger tool on the other end.

If you're interested in grabbing one of these beauty bags, I would really recommend them, they're still available on Bath & Unwind. All the products are together are supposed to be worth €147.00, but if you apply the code "BAUBAG" at the check out, you can get the lot for €39.56. There were also a couple of samples included with the bag as well, I got a sample of REN's Overnight Facial, which I'm excited to try out. I think the bag was a bargain, and I got to try out some different brands I wouldn't normally have tried.

Is there anything here you'd like to try out yourself?
